Spatial planning of higher education in Iran: considerations

Abstract

Spatial Spplanning of higher education as one of the use of land use planning can play an important role in the development process and development of the country. However, policy makers, like other development activities, need a number of considerations which have been addressed by the analytical approach of this paper. The spatial planning experiences have shown us that the holistic view and system have the greatest impact in the benefit of this kind of planning based planning. Considerations such as attention to reforming the economic, social and outside of the higher education system will lead to an increase in the different outcomes of higher education planning. Of course corrections within educational systems such as educational guidance system also lead to reform of the university admission system. Moreover, the strengthening of the higher skilled education system will also be a good link to education and economy, and in particular to alleviate the challenge of living alumni. Furthermore , the conclusion of higher education is not confined to the structural and managerial reorganization of the higher education system and the higher education planning is not just about making decisions about the quantitative dimensions of higher education and not all discussions are focused on aggregation , integration , and elimination of universities and higher education centers ! In the preparation of higher education, macro and micro - policies in this regard have been reviewed and the necessary modifications to improve higher education are considered in two quantitative and qualitative approaches in spatial planning.
