Presenting an Entrepreneurial University Development Model Based on Stabilized Knowledge-Based Businesses (A Case Study: Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present the development model of Entrepreneur University based on the stabilization of knowledge-based businesses in Sharif University of Technology in Tehran. The research method involves the use of qualitative methods. To achieve the goal of the research, Sharif University of Technology, which has a higher priority than other universities in terms of entrepreneurial potential, has been selected as a statistical population and the views of 15 professors of this university who were randomly selected as A statistical sample was collected. The sampling method involved the use of targeted sampling. The data collection method was performed in a field using structured interview tools. The findings were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. The results showed that a model could be designed for the development of entrepreneurial universities. This model was designed and developed both for Sharif University of Technology in a special way and for other universities in general. The designed model shows that there are components that can predict how a university will become an entrepreneurial university and how successful it will be.
